We're thrilled to announce that our partnership with Horizon Health Network, Vitalité Health Network, and the Government of New Brunswick has expanded to include maternal care - giving pregnant New Brunswickers access to personalized digital support throughout their pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Meeting patients at one of life's most important moments

Pregnancy is equal parts exciting and overwhelming. For many people, the gap between clinic visits is filled with questions, uncertainty, and hours lost to unreliable online searches. This expansion of è directly addresses that gap.

Once enrolled, patients receive access to a self-care library developed by Horizon obstetricians and clinicians - covering symptom management, what to expect leading up to delivery, to-do checklists, and daily postpartum health checks to support recovery at home. Appointment reminders are built in too, helping patients stay on track without extra effort.

As Dr. Ken Gillespie, Horizon's Physician Program Lead for Women and Children's Health, put it: it's like a modern-day version of What to Expect When You're Expecting - but expanded, always up to date, and right on your phone.

A deepening partnership across New Brunswick

This isn't è's first expansion with these partners. In September 2025, Horizon and Vitalité adopted our platform for patients undergoing Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgery. Early results were encouraging - patients reported greater confidence in their recovery and the program was associated with fewer post-operative readmissions.

Maternal care represents the next chapter of that relationship, and we're proud it reflects a shared commitment to accessible, patient-centred care across the province.

"Integrating è into the perinatal care pathway represents a significant step forward," said Chantalle Arsenault, Corporate Director of Women's and Children's Health at Vitalité. "This solution enables patients to be better informed, better prepared, and better supported."

Built for the way people actually live

è is accessible via phone, tablet, or through any web browser - no special hardware required. Patients receive their access code directly from their care provider, making enrollment simple and tied to their existing care relationship.

We believe that great care doesn't stop at the clinic door. This expansion into maternal health is a reflection of that belief - and of what becomes possible when health systems, government, and technology partners work toward the same goal.
